Transition is the psychological reorientation you make to come to terms with change. The work of transitions includes psychological and emotional aspects and occurs throughout three phases:
1. Endings
2. The Neutral Zone
3. The New Beginning
We use these phases to assist you in disengaging yourself from your “old world", reorienting yourself into a period of possibility and opportunity, and into creating a solid new life and career for yourself around the ideas and possibilities that emerge.
A large part of transitioning is Emotional Intelligence, and we help you navigate personal change by assisting in understanding:
· Self-Awareness - Knowing your own emotions
· Self-Regulation - Managing your own emotions
· Motivation - The force that initiates, guides and maintains goal-oriented behaviors
· Empathy - Recognizing emotions in others
· Handling Relationships
· Empathy-Social-Awareness
We provide expert Leadership Development Coaching, and our method involves Leadership Emotional Intelligence Coaching. This entails helping leaders understand:
· Self-Awareness
· Motivation
· Relationship Management
Leaders who are autonomous, sure of their boundaries, and in good psychological health tend to have positive outlooks on life. This helps them make the best decisions for their organizations.
Authentic Relationship Management and Leadership driven by:
· Personal Values
· Ethical Boundaries
· Emotional Intelligence
We work with you directly on each of these important areas. Another essential part of our leadership development process is to develop Empathy, Social-Awareness, because we believe that the more open, we are to our own emotions, the more skilled we will be in reading feelings and leading others.
An example of this is helping people of color do the work to address personal and collective trauma of their heritage.
Many Young Leaders are busy trying to establish themselves in the world that they leave little time for self-exploration. We help those leaders develop their:
· Stories
· Strengths
· Values-principles
· Motivations
· Support team
We then integrate all those personal self-aspects into a fulfilled career and personal life.
Most employers are now keenly aware of the business benefits associated with employing a diverse workforce that is properly representative of the customers it wishes to serve. Despite this fact, systemic racism continues to exist even without explicitly racist actors. The good news is that multicultural competence can be learned and practiced.
Talking about racism and race equity invokes a variety of responses from individuals. Experience teaches us that people are activated by words, situations, sounds and people, based on their own personal experiences and perspectives.
We assist you and your organizations to develop staff training curriculums, with topics on:
· Organizational Transitions through Change
· Emotional Intelligence for Individuals, Leadership and Organizations
· Impact Assessment of Racism as Trauma, highlighting the destructive effect of Microaggression, Implicit Bias and Unconscious Bias
· Cultural Competency Assessments for Individuals and Organizations
This leads to developing overall Emotional Intelligence for individuals, leadership and your organization.
